Multi-tasked policy analyst, trainer, and monitoring, MEAL specialist with over 18 years of experience in policy analysis, training, training and program design, and evaluation of humanitarian and development projects. Designed and evaluated more than fifty-two humanitarian and development projects for UNDP, UNICEF, UNHCR, ICRC, ILO, JICA, USAID, Save the Children, Catholic Relief Services, CARE, ZOA, and other leading non-governmental agencies and governmental institutions mainly in Ethiopia (including Tanzania, Somalia, and South Sudan in multi-country evaluation). Accredited Sphere trainer with proven expertise in building capacity of humanitarian and development agencies in MEAL, Protection, Complaint Feedback System, Sphere, Core Humanitarian Standard, and other quality and accountability initiatives. A deeper understanding of the Ethiopian and Horn of African context and worked as an assistant professor of public policy at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Holder of a B.A. in Education and a B.SC. in Business Administration, including a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Development.
