Pak Mission Society (PMS) got registered in 2008 envisioning “Vulnerable and unreached communities are empowered so that people enjoy the fullness of life, living with hope, dignity and respect” while mission of the organization is “Implement and promote holistic development to strengthen people’s capacities, resilience and self-reliance”. PMS aims to catalyze holistic transformation and development through relationships based on dignity and respect and the transparent, fair and rights-based allocation of humanitarian and development efforts. The thematic areas of PMS are Localisation, Humanitarian Action, WASH & DRR, Climate Action, Entrepreneurship Development, Church & Community Transformation and Leadership & Youth Development. PMS is working with the core values of Excellence, Accountability, Patience, Teamwork and Passion. PMS has outreach in 34 districts & operational offices in 11 districts of Pakistan and served to more than 1 million households (6.5 million individuals).

The work of Pak Mission Society (PMS) evolved with the passage of time; i.e. From 2008 to 2017, majorly the organisation was working as humanitarian faith based entity to respond to different humanitarian crisis (Earthquake, Riverine & Flash Floods, Drought, Heatwave, Outbreaks). However, from 2017 onwards Development projects started in different geographic regions to rebuild the lives of the affected populations mainly with the support of German Development Cooperation (BMZ). In 2023, organisation take another step forward and adapted Triple Nexus (HDP) approach in the programming, designing and implementation. In terms of sectoral perspective, multi-sectoral integrated projects are being implemented focusing Climate Resilient WASH, Livelihood, Food & Nutrition Security, DRR (CBDRM, SBDRM, CBDRM) and Climate Action. The youth is niche of the organisation and intersectionality of Climate, Faith & Youth is center for the future positioning of the organisation as faith actor.
