Mission : 1- The purpose of the Council is to deepen the spiritual fellowship among faith based entities , and to unite them in word and deed towards justice , peace throughout the region and among the people inhabiting it. 2- reflecting the strategic objectives of MECC through different humanitarian and development programs the ensure proper implementation to preserve the privacy and dignity of affected people from different kind of crises . 3- Ensure all programs to be according to humanitarian principles and standard and offer all help to all people in need irrespective of race , background, religion , orientation etc.. 4- Be in solidarity with all organizations at , local regional and international levels that share same mission. The Middle East Council of Churches run many activities under different departments . the activities can be summarized as the following : - Activities related to Human dignity through webinars and media lectures to raise the awareness about the status of violation the human dignity in the Middle East . -Program related to Echo-justice -Programs related to Diakonia department which are related to : humanitarian response under different humanitarian sectors , Migration and refugees, capacity building and training , construction and rehabilitaion. - Different programs under many sectors : Health , Basic needs, livelihood, education , WASH , MPSS , Shelter and food security and nutrition
