Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. is a German Christian non-governmental organisation, dedicated to excellence in the field of first aid, ambulance service, social service programmes and other projects in the medical and social field. The Federal Headquarters are based in Berlin, Germany. Johanniter International Assistance is the department for development co-operation and Emergency aid, implementing and supporting projects worldwide.

As employees of Johanniter International Assistance they are committed to the principles of Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe. The assistance is aimed at all people regardless of their religion, nationality and culture and is not governed by any political interests. In the course of their international humanitarian work, their pledge themselves to responsible and cooperative action.
