B. Mission Guided by its Development Strategic Plan and Management, AEID has the mission to contribute towards: • Delivery of quality education throughout the country; • Provision of potable water to the rural and urban community, schools, health facilities and Promotion of hygiene & sanitation; • Building the socio-economic capacity of the community through creating access and improving quality of education services, health, protection, agriculture, Food supply, nutrition, and other services. • Provide reliable and timely multi-sectorial humanitarian response; • Contribute to the peace building, democracy and human right advocacy; • Deliver Care and Support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC); • Construct emergency shelter and provision of NFIs; and • Eradicating rural poverty through enhancing natural resources management;

The major services of AEID are: A. Safe water supply, water trucking and sanitation and hygiene facilities and practices deliver, B. Health service, especially Mobile Health and Nutrition Team(MHNT), maternal health care capacity building and fulfilling the health facilities with WASH services, C. Education services, especially access to quality of education and school construction, provision of scholastic materials, school rehabilitation, accelerated Education in Emergency, fulfilling WASH system for schools and supporting OVC students with full cost of living. D. Agricultural services (supply of especial seeds, veterinary services and farmers training, and animal husbandry) E. ESAP- Ethiopian Social Accountability program in which we trained the service users their entitlements and the service givers their responsibilities to deliver the standardized quality and timely services being accountable.
